Canada's Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) are designed to allow provinces and territories to nominate individuals for permanent residence based on their specific economic needs.

Each PNP operates under a specific set of criteria, and applicants are usually required to have certain skills, work experience, education, or a job offer in that province or territory.

Key Provincial Programs

1. Alberta - Offers streams for skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and graduates, including a Farm Stream and Graduate Entrepreneur Stream.
2. British Columbia - Focuses on skilled workers, international graduates, and entrepreneurs, with Express Entry-aligned streams.
3. Manitoba - Targets skilled workers and international graduates, with ongoing program updates.

4. New Brunswick - Includes streams for skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and international graduates.
5. Newfoundland and Labrador - Accepts skilled workers, graduates, and entrepreneurs.
6. Nova Scotia - Offers streams for skilled workers, international graduates, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
7. Ontario - Nominates skilled workers, international students, business owners, and entrepreneurs.
8. Prince Edward Island - Focuses on skilled workers, international graduates, and entrepreneurs.

9. Saskatchewan - Includes Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand streams for skilled workers.
10. Northwest Territories - Offers employer-driven and business streams.
11. Yukon - Nominates internationally-trained workers and businesspeople.

Application Process

1. Apply directly - to a province or territory.
2. Express Entry - If eligible, create a profile, and provinces may nominate you for permanent residence, giving you extra points toward your CRS score.
