Subhashini is a practicing Attorney-at-Law and a Notary Public in Sri Lanka and holds a Master’s degree in Human Rights and Democratization from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Subhashini has extensive experience in her legal practice especially in the areas of labour law, civil law, notary practice and public law including fundamental rights and writ applications and is also actively engaged in legal research work as a consultant and have served organizations such as Centre for Policy Alternatives, Institute for Constitutional Studies, Oxfam Australia, Centre on Housing Rights and Evictions and Verite Research. Subhashini further renders her services for Non-Governmental Organizations including UNDP, NDI, Asia Foundation and USAID as a Consultant.
As an active member of Team Ardent, Subhashini participates in client consultations, and drafts the Statements of Purposes perusing relevant documents submitted by the clients. Her legal drafting and courtroom advocacy skills complemented by her voracious engagement in research have been an added advantage in presenting the clients' cases to the office of immigration in an impressive manner. This has equally contributed to providing a convenient, hassle-free process of applying for required visas, to our clients.
